Something tells me this whole thing is just a prank where everyone knows it’s one, except Kade, and are doing it to mess with his head because the whole prank was to make Kade believe they jumped to an alternate timeline where the first Mario movie was successful and caused an entire Nintendo Cinematic Universe to develop. Yet all that actually changed was everyone’s language around Kade. The PS1 is stil just a PS1 but they call it a Nintendo PS. Not just Harvey, it’s everyone who is messing with his head. And it’s April 1st in their world.
They saw a movie in the theater, along with hundreds of others who saw it with them. Kade was also looking up stuff on the internet. Unless you think they somehow managed to fake a multi-million dollar CGI movie, get a theater to air it, get hundreds of people to be in on the ruse to attend the movie with them, and then create an entire fake internet for Kaze to browse (and all within a short period of time no less) I highly highly doubt this is a prank that everyone is in on.
Considering Harvey’s reaction here this seems more like it’s some kind of illusion or hallucination or something that he’s controlling, he seemed blind-sighted by the question that the SNES PlayStation would not have been able to play PS1 games as it was just a SNES with a CD drive attached, which Kade even pointed out that many people falsely assume that, safe to say that Harvey didn’t know that either and made a mistake in this fake world he created.
Yeah, I am tempted to lean more into that theory. Harvey is still holding Kades paw and no more then a few seconds have past. What Kade is seeing is all a mental projection from Harvey and as we all know from various other shows where this is use. Time in a dream passes way faster then real life.
