To remove screws that won’t budge from deep inside a screw well:
You need a LONG machine handle (hex shank) screw bit, a 1/4 inch socket, and a ratchet. This allows you to bear down on the screw and you get a handle to turn with.
Considering the case is trash as she described, so reassembly isn’t a concern, she could also just break the plastic or use a metal drill bit to drill out the head of the screw.
