People did not consider… that Foxes have really scrawny ankles, so the boots on the 90’s cover art, were closer to anatomically correct in size for a FOX leg, that was anthropomorphized into a humanoid leg/foot configuration.
i mean. the metal legs was only ever a theory, one that was officially confirmed to not be true when an interviewer brought it up around Zero’s release.
