Correct me if I am wrong but old memory serves me right that Monster Reborn is a magic card, not a trap card in Yugioh. Then again Man Eater Bugs were nice stop gaps to suddenly reincarnated critters.
Heh, reminds me of a D&D game where we had a Paladin in full armor get mind-wiped in the middle of a dungeon. So we pushed him in front of us. We realized we found the stairs down to the lower levels when he suddenly disappeared… and we got a good indication of how far they went down due to how long it took for him to reach bottom.
So while 13 Dead End Drive, Kade is (or was) Clay the Tennis Coach, Harvey is “Charity” the Physician, Nicole is Parker the Chauffeur, and Ness is Poopsie the cat?
I remember commercials for this game, but never got it. So not only do they insert themselves in video games, but board games? This opens a lot of possibilities. Battleship, Monopoly, how would ConnectFour look?
My favorite board game, it’s my childhood. Only game I cared enough to never loose a single piece. I need to find someone to play it with. All my friends I do play games with are either online or I hardly see.
Harvey needs Dokapon kingdom in its afterlife. ^^ Also Nicole’s detective suit reminds me a bit of Naoto’s from Persona 4. But I might be getting that wrong haha. Anyways cool that they are enjoying themselves with board games.
I would legitimately like to see Harvey’s reaction to both FLUXX (because it would drive him insane, what with all the changing rules) and Cards Against Humanity, even if they didn’t really play the latter; just a brief scene of Harvey saying, “What does this have to do with fighting against all the fleshbags!?” or something like that.
Cards Against Humanity would be the perfect game for Harvey if he could get any of the references though any ‘your mom’ cards would be very awkward for both Kade and Nichole.
I saw some people playing that last week (FLUXX). I sat in on a game. Had no clue what was happening. I just shoved down a random card and hoped it was right.
I wouldn’t mind some real life Clue.
