A trench coat always worked for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles…
Naked all the time, wearing clothes for the beach, classic.
Yea ; it’s weird somewhere ^_^”
Have you seen what happens when a really fluffy cat gets wet? Wet fur shows Everything.
Objection! In the absence of obscenity, the furries’ clothes serve no purpose.
Actually that is a perfect explanation.
“Kade! Put something on until you dry off! You’re not decent.”
“But Mooom…I dry so much faster this way!”
I think Nicole looks more undressed -with- that bathing suit than without it!
Really! I’m not sure why though. ‘Course, like Random said, once her fur gets wet that would change quite a bit.
Likely because it outlines her *******. To be honest, I didn’t even realize the characters had any until this page. I assumed they were designed more to look like an animal made bipedal rather than have some human-like features. (Other than obviously needing thumbs)
Huh, didn’t realize that word was censored, that kinda makes my post sound a lot worse or offensive than it really is
Well, TendoTwo, that tends to happen with text censorship. It makes out minds automatically jump to the worst possible ones, with four-letter censors REALLY messing up the meaning.
Anyway, I thought Nicole looked different, and wow, didn’t realize that she was that, uh, “well-endowed.”
Doesn’t Nicole need to wear 3 tops? Because dogs and all?
Harvey’s face made me spill my soda lmao
2nd time in HISTORY i see Kade (and 1st For Nicole) wearing propper clothes
Honestly Harvey seems fine to me. I don’t know what everyone else is upset about
If he appared right in front of me right now, I’d die from a heart attack
(Better not saying what would happen at night)
Harvey is more funny than scary ^_^
Kade, hurry up and take a photo! Then lets compare it to https://misterioshost.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/dama-cafe.jpg?w=474
That is terrifying. Then immediately went to creepy-cute with Harvey’s smile and the tape for the jaw coming loose.
Imagine THAT emerging from your door at night…
That’s a scary thought.
Forget the door for a moment- imagine that thing appearing under the covers when you jump into bed at 11:pm…
Your foot hits something hard…
At first you are confused, think you left a baseball or something under the covers…
You lift the sheets to see what it is…
And out of the darkness, next to your feet, two red, shining dots stare up at you.
You give a small gasp of shock.
Thats when the object rises suddenly to its full height (2-3 ft, but it’s imposing nonetheless as its standing- or floating- on your chest)
The moonlight from the window shines off its smooth, hairless skull- and that’s when you realize that’s all it is, a disembodied skull, two long black rabbit-like ears, and spectral red lights in its cavernous eye sockets, with its bony jaw open wide (giving you a clear view of all its teeth). The ragged coat hanging empty on its shoulders flutters in an unfelt wind as it raises its thin, black arms above your head, a raspy whisper coming from the depths of its cavernous maw. Your eyes widen in terror as you lie motionless, helpless to wake from this nightmare that looms above you. It’s claws make a wet ripping sound as they extend out of its fingertips, dripping a clear fluid that makes the sheets next to your head sizzle. It pauses for a second and moves its skull gently back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, baaaaaaack and fooooooooorthhhhhhhhhh………..
And then throws back its head, opens its jaws wide, and lets loose a blood curdling scream as it thrusts its claws down into your ribcage. It’s high- pitched keening goes on for many seconds, matching your screams in both volume and intensity. You feel a cold throbbing in your chest, and stop screaming long enough to look down. Instead of seeing your chest ripped open as you thought, your chest remains untouched. Instead, the apparition holds in its outstretched hands a ghostly image of what appears to be a human heart. The heart beats very rapidly, matching exactly the tempo of your own heartbeat. The monster has stopped screaming now, and stares intently at the heart in its hands. It’s eyes flash, and you feel a sharp pain in your chest, so intense that you gasp in pain and finally begin to sob in fear. You now know without a doubt that the beating heart the ghost holds in its hands is your very soul- and the creature is staring at it with an unholy hunger in its eyes.
It turns its head and stares you straight in the face, it’s cold, empty, unblinking sockets seeming to stare directly into your thoughts, sucking them all into their depths, and replacing them with a single song, playing endlessly over and over in your mind: “you are going to die tonight, you are going to die tonight, you are going to die tonight…” The song reminds you of something your own mother used to sing to you every night as she put you to bed, something that never failed to assure you that everything was alright, just go to sleep, everything is going to be fine tomorrow… But you can’t remember the words. You try to remember, but the only thing that comes to mind is: you are going to die tonight, you are going to die tonight, you are going to die tonight… You desperately try to bring to mind your mother’s face, but you realize to your horror that you can’t. Every memory of her, every single one, has been replaced by an image of those empty, empty sockets staring at you, just staring. you are going to die tonight, you are going to die tonight, you are going to die tonight… You realize you have been lying with your eyes closed, and snap them open, only to see that the creature that had been only moments before sitting on your chest, is gone. You sit up, breathing heavily. Was that it, then? Was it only a nightmare? It seemed so real. You inadvertently bring your hands to your face, and feel your cheeks wet with tears. You blink, and a tear runs down your face, drops off your cheek, and lands noiselessly on your pillow
The spot were the drop landed is bright, bright red.
You look down at your fingers in surprise, only to see them covered in red. More drops start to fall, each one leaving a dark crimson stain on your bed. You realize, uncharacteristicly late, that you are not crying. You are bleeding.
Suddenly, the window makes a sound like a boiling teakettle and implodes, sending glass shards shooting around the room, but they don’t fall to the floor. They fly through the air, imbedding themselves impossibly deep into your bedroom door, effectively nailing it shut. You jump to your feet, startled, only to see the figure in the coat standing in the window frame, still holding the beating heart in its hand. You realize with a start that the cold throbbing in your chest is still there, sucking the warmth out of your body. You bolt to the door, sobbing again, and furiously try to wrench it open, to no avail. Your hands have become slippery with the blood that drips from your eyes, dribbling down your face and soaking your chest. You turn to look at the figure in the window, still holding your soul in its grip. It stares into your eyes, and you hold its gaze. It’s eyes begin to glow brighter as it holds the heart out in front of it. The throbbing in your chest becomes more and more intense, until you are sure it will rip you open. The creature begins to squeeze the heart in its fist, causing its beat to falter, and black fluid drips from between its claws. The throbbing becomes a burning pain, and you fall to the floor, hugging your blood soaked chest, wishing you had the strength to scream. Snap. Snap Snap. First one, then two more of your ribs shatter, making a sound like rotten sticks being stepped on. You hear a drawn-out squeal in your head- you realize it is the creature screaming again, this time with pleasure. The monster continues to squeeze, its long ears standing straight up. You feel a sharp pop, this time in your sinuses, and blood gushes out of your nose, black, and mingles with the blood already on the floor. Your field of vision begins to contract into a blurry circle- you remember your health class instructor calling this “tunnel vision” – and you begin to gag on the blood filling your throat. The song still playing in your head begins to drown out all the pain- “you are going to die tonight, you are going to die tonight, you are going to die tonight…”
You turn your head to look at the creature in the window, framed by broken glass. Your eyes slowly unfocus, and the tree in your front yard comes into clarity. It’s leaves rustle in the soft night breeze, it’s branches illuminated by the waxing gibbous that is the moon tonight. You were three at the time, your oxygen-starved brain mumbles. You stole the knife from the kitchen, remember? The big one. You stole it, ran outside, and carved your favorite person’s name into the bark of that tree. Mom. That’s what you carved, remember? You carved it in your messy scribblings and chippings, but you could read it. They eventually found out, of course. Parents always find out. You got a lecture and a timeout, remember? Your mother was never really angry, though. Even though you could have hurt yourself, she still loved you. She always loved you. Even till the day she died. You still miss her, don’t you? If you were three again, and you stood by that tree again with that knife in your hand, would you carve her name again? Yes you would. You know why? Because you loved her.
Because you loved her.
A single tear falls from your lashes and lands in the pool of blood, disappearing instantly. Your last tear. Why this memory, you beg your brain, any one but this. It hurts so much. You try to remember one last time how her name looked on that tree, carved so many years ago.
But you can’t.
That familiar word has been erased from your mind.
In its place, carved in neat rows around and around the tree are the words to a song.
“you are going to die tonight, you are going to die tonight, you are going to die tonight…”
You close your eyes as your nightmare squeezes last drop of fluid from your soul, then drops it. It hits the windowsill, bounces once, and falls into the cool night air.
Do you think she still loves you after death, your brain asks as it dies.
Why don’t you ask her yourself, the Creature in the window rasps.
You were dead long before ghostly heart hit the ground.
In the arbitrary, your name was listed, along with “suicide victim” and “killed [themself] with a large steak knife”. The funeral was short, friends and family wondered why, they were so quiet, can’t believe it would come to this.
Later, it would be found in the police records that there were peculiar factors to the suicide, namely the black liquid on the bushes beneath the window, thought to be poisoned vomit, despite the lack of poisoned substances present. Also noted were the strange fractures to the ribs, spine and nasal bones, for which there is no explanation, and the victim’s body somehow had been drained completely of its blood. The heart was also reported missing, despite no sign of lacerations to the chest. This was ignored as a mistake during the autopsy.
If the police had only examined the crime scean further, they would have stumbled upon an important clue: on the bark of the tree out front, the faded inscription of “mom” had three slashes gouged through it, with a single word etched above it in deep, long lettering:
Uh… Ok that is just a little creepy. Don’t tell Kade or Nicole what Harvey does for a night job.
Imma not sleeping for a week.
Why Rick is clothed to go to the beach ? Remember it : http://www.savestatecomic.com/2015/08/heat-index/
I guess there would be no problems with Nessie at the beach ; peoples can think to a pet ………………………………… What sort of pet it would be ? ^_^”
The seaside is usually a little cooler than inland. Plus maybe he ran out of suncream for his scales and doesn’t want to get burnt.
He could just be wearing it for the trip to the beach and plan on taking it off there. It isn’t uncommon to do.
pretty much every page I’m hoping that Kade and Rick end up a couple…
Oh. Hey, Beo. Fancy meeting you, here.
And yeah, me, too.
No please, neither of them characters appear to be gay. It is even shown that Kade probably has a crush on Riley.
Thats what everybody has in mind, I sincerely want to see their parents react when kade invites riley home for the 1st time!!
Also the newest comic puts further damper on any gay shipping.
I love how the jaw is held on with tiny strips of tape.
And it’s failing , in the last panel ^_^”
Looks like summer came early this year! I’m so tempted to make a “Five Nights at Harvey’s” joke…and Ness with sunglasses is freaking adorable
For some reason that i cant point my finger on i think he should go
why does that face make me think of the psycho violin track, but used for humor? XP
“…I’ve been saving the jaw since Halloween.”
You don’t want to know where(/who) he got it from.
Is it wrong to say that Nicole looks hot in that bikini?
No, it just means that you are a furry. ;3
Weird seeing Nicole in a bikini, used to always seeing them naked.
Also, I’d go right up to him if I saw Harvey like that at the beach.
At this rate, it’ll take them FURever to get to the beach.
-Insert long sigh here-
I don’t think Rick is referring to ‘fear-induced’ nightmares.
All who like seeing Nicole in that purple Bikini say “I”.
What’s the Japanese on Rick’s shorts translate to?
I’m pretty sure the Japanese text says Godzilla.
I’m so used to “not wearing a collar” = “being naked” that I thought “Why’s Kade naked?” when looking at the first panel.
I JUST realised that harvey is (or actually was) a freaking Rabbit when he was still alive…
Evil Inspector Gadget Rabbit Activate!
It’s “Go Go Gadget Evil Rabbit!”
worked for the turtles BUT they had fedora hats too.
He really does.
I’m guessing it’s close to…
Harvey is just awesome! ” I promise not to scare anyone. “
I confess that like others I was surprised they were wearing clothes to the each and then I saw Nicole in a purple bikini and thought, Okay, I can live with this.
Oddly enough, it kinda makes her even cuter.
1.Nicole looks very hawt in a bikini; 2. Ness looks frickin’ adorable in shades.
I suggest a big brown paper bag with two holes in it.
Harvey, no offense but that’s better suited for that Halloween event than a beach outing. All you need is to appear like a snake.
I love the classic paradox. Characters who don’t wear clothing still have to wear bathing suits. Ness looks adorable in those shades too. But Kade’s is right in his comparing Harvey to that old cover art. I remember as a kid I had to go into the horror section of our local rental place to get my Godzilla movies and that cover art always scared me for hours afterward.
… Somehow… I can picture Harvey saying, “What are ya buyin’?”
… And if he does say that at some point in that getup, I’ll probably freak out…
First off; Everyone in new york is high on exhaust, and they wore glasses and a hat. Secondly; I assume the swim suits are there to indicate they are going to the beach, rather then them actually needing swim suits?
I really wanna see Nicole and Kade play the Outlast 2 demo.
That would be great. It’d even be…MASSIVE. (get it because it’s like Mt. Massive)
