Kade’s not going to survive the Nerf Wars.
Ah, the joys of family.
By the way, love their collars.
Love the expresion on dad’s face. I hope you will continue this and this flasback is just a intro to another family visit
Love how Dad is seemingly having fun with this situation.
Surprised my big brother or I never actually did something like this.
Do it now. Sneak up on him. Out of nowhere, WHACK upside the head with a soft bat. Awesome :p
*applaudes* Just so true. The definition of beautiful. Beautiful: Nicole and Kade fighting at a young age.
xD I’m surprised the mom didn’t think as far ahead as to clarify “and no real-punching, either.”
I did this with my brothers
this one is so cute, it makes me feel
Mom should have phrased it differently xD reminds me of that animation of present-day Nicole punching Kade while gaming, wonder what’s her excuse now
“It’s still fun!”
Jarvalho
Gee, what a big paragraph! I wonder what this person just said! Let’s find out!
-[Input protocol initiated]
-[translation from to complete.]
- [translation is as follows:
"LEA £ the Alvalade : Gives the example of what goes on at Bayern Munich but if the £ esqueçaa difference of cultures that exists between the Germans £ es and portugueses.Criar another £ COMMISSION on the SCP would be more people to fight for the perch, more & qq ; eoptnachos & uuot ;, more free ride tickets to go to estádio , more people a say , more interviews to newspapers, more envy, more bedpans to get angry - more parrots to speak , in short, more of everything than we are already fed up ! -Jarvalho"
Ya, thanks google translate. I gained about 0% information from reading that. Either GT is a piece of ****, trixie is illiterate, or it was ASCII instead of Portuguese.
Could someone maybe translate that properly for me?
Aw the joys of parenting. =^^=
Reminds me of playing N64 with my sister, both of us finding ways to make the other lose.
Omg, this made my day xDDD nice job, Tim!
I’d do this with my siblings.
You know, if they weren’t 6 and 12 years younger than me.
I love the flashbacks x3 i would like to see a Harvey flashback when he was alive
It’ll happen someday. I’ll have to break out the sepia-tones.
I freaking love Kades two different coloured eyes… he and Nicole are adorable and this situation I’m having flashbacks to when my older bro did the same thing to me…
So Kade and Nicole both wear collars, both in the past and now, but their parents don’t.
So is wearing collared just a Kade and Nicole thing or is it part of scociety in this comic?
If it is part of scociety why don’t their parents wear collars.
Come to think if it their parents wear clothing and Kade and Nicole don’t…meh guess I won’t question it, the collars are cute^_^
Clothes seem to be entirely optional in this world. Tim equated collars with t-shirts, something casual. If a situation calls for it, they’ll wear actual clothes, like when at the costume party, I’m sure they have some sort of formal attire, or Rick, as he’s cold-blooded.
Guess that makes sence
Rick has stated in comments before that clothing is optional. He also made one of those AMA pictures that showed how hard it was for them to get clothing on over their fur.
I said Rick, I meant Tim. Rick being mentioned in last comment confused me.
Mom’s face in the last panel is priceless:
“So Angry… must… crush.. paper.”
Make my day Tim
And I’m sure nothing has changed about their fights….except the force behind Nicole’s pubches :3.
Soak the Nerf-bats in ice-water first. Heheheh. Or, you could just take a bat to each of them yourself!
I’m amused that Kade seems to come out on the short end of the stick in most of these things. Orrr.. Maybe I just like Nicole enough to not remember it when she loses to Kade. Although, in this one it appears Mom’s the one on the short end of the stick.
It was those inflatable mallets from the carnival for us.
I always did the thing where I would cover the second controller port with a blanket while my little brother wanted my to play with me. Of course the second controller was unplugged. He always wondered why the controller was broken. I never liked playing games with him cause I wanted to finish Super Mario Sunshine. Ahh evil childish schemes.
Ah, I remember the old trick where I’d give my brother a controller that was unplugged, and he’d think he was controlling the CPU player. It was always fun.
He’s still young enough that it works, wish it still worked on my sister though.
I remember playing smash bros and always picking the most agile character, so I’d always just jump around the screen and watch them kill themselves while coming after me. ;p Yes that includes the AI, and my brother+sister.
Crazy thing about me is that I started playing games at the age of 3, so my older brother could never trick me. I surpassed him at most games on a regular basis. (Don’t feel bad for him. He admits this.)
Man, she’s NiCOLD hearted.
Also yes. I am aware my puns are painful.
She needs a Nicscolding for really punching Kade. X3
I remember doing that!
Now I just hit the home button on the Wii remote, especially when my friends and I are playing Wii Sports bowling XD
Anyone remember cheating on the PowerPad for the long jump? XD
My cat used to take the disk out of my PlayStation while I was concentrating on driving Gran Turismo.
Get 4 Nerf bats and make helms and shields, have a “Family Night” – or 8 and let Harvey Rick and Ness join in too, plus a spare for a guest.
Poor Mom ; hard to live with such childs …………………………………… Asking to myself how she hasn’t grey fur now ? ^_^”
” Haha, *punch!*
HEY! What was that for! :<
Mom told me to do it indirectly! "
I like the eye roll Mom does in panel five. My sister and I never had a game controller to fight over, we just fought over the chores, and who wasn’t keeping their end of the bargain when we traded.
ROFL! Love the expressions…, especially Mom in panel 5!
Oh, yes…, and Nicole is definitely a typical Australian Shepherd. I ought to know…, I’ve been living with a succession of them since 1965!
Just “had to” throw in a comment to Tim about how much I love this total strip! ALL the drawings, and both the dialog for Kade & Nicole AND that for Mom & Dad, and the whole joke is funny. Everything just works soo well together. GREAT JOB, TIM!!
I am in love with comics
Kade’s Yoshi egg pendant is my favorite one so far
Oh BOY do I remember doing the same thing with my brother’s.. and our Atari. Yes.. I’m THAT old.
