I’m assuming that’s what Nicole was talking about with people complaining about the SW2. That and hardware concerns.

You do know both Sony and Microsoft have raised their prices as well, right?
Microsoft has, so far Sony hasn’t, but even if they do then two wrongs don’t make a right. There are at this point likely over a hundred examples of game companies in the past being forced to go back on their word after public outcry. (Remember the mess with the Xbox One originally making you require an internet connection and to register physical games to your account before you can play them?) If the customers refuse to accept what they are doing, they can’t force people to buy it.
Might get a Switch 2 provided that Mario Maker will be compatible with it. Really want to play Mario Kart World, but for me the system seller is Mario Maker.

Nintendo will likely always be my main console. I liked the Wii u and the GameCube was one of the best systems ever. But I’m just not exited for switch 2. Didn’t even try to pre-order it. It’s not that different and the new 2 exclusives I don’t care about. And though I think it’s too soon after starting to price games at 70 to increase it again. I guess I will pay 80 IF the game is worth it. And sorry Nintendo but Mario kart isn’t worth it. I’m holding games with that price to some HIGH standards.

This is actually the first time I’ve ever gotten a console new, I took an hour long lunch break that ended up lasting a little over two hours to stand outside gamestop, and it’ll be totally worth it come launch day, I’m psyched
I hate it because the games look great but I cannot justify the price of those games. I want to experience the new Mario Kart, but I can wait a year or two for used copies at cheaper prices. I also have a backlog of so many games to play so I’ll be fine lol.
Same, I do not want to make $80 games become the norm, they barely just started trying to push $70 being the norm, Switch games were generally $60 and now they are skipping $70 and trying to jump to $80? Insane.
But Donkey Kong wont be out on the release day, it will come a little later. So Nicole will have to wait for a bit. Could give Kade a chance to get a hold of one before the game is out 😉
